A 4K screening! At SIGGRAPH Vancouver! Plus a special introduction from Ed Catmull. And befores & afters is part of the action!
With SIGGRAPH 2025 Vancouver approaching, we have a fun announcement about a special event at the conference this year–there will be a 30th anniversary screening of Pixar’s Toy Story on Sunday, 10 August 2025, at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Not only that, Ed Catmull, co-founder of Pixar, will be delivering an introduction to the film!
It’s all part of the SIGGRAPH 2025 Computer Animation Festival, being orchestrated by CAF Chair Dawn Fidrick. Excitingly, Ian Failes from befores & afters is also the CAF Film Event Lead this year and will be there as part of all the action.
The screening will be delivered in 4K with a bespoke projector set-up, which means you will be seeing Toy Story in STUNNING detail.
Also, we can exclusively reveal there will be some special give-aways and surprises on the day for those who attend the screening.
