Pitch Black’s Troy Tobin on where Rising Sun’s REVIZE is now headed

Today on the befores & afters podcast we’re chatting to Pitch Black’s Troy Tobin. Troy is now the Head of REVIZE (Research and Innovation). As you may know, REVIZE came out of Rising Sun Pictures as the studio’s proprietary machine learning technology. It’s been used by artists at the studio on films such as Sinners, Mickey 17, Thunderbolts, Furiosa and Thor: Love and Thunder.

The big announcement with REVIZE is that it is being expanded to Pitch Black’s other studios beyond Rising Sun, to FOLKS, El Ranchito and Square One. In the podcast, Troy and I discuss that expansion of REVIZE. We also talk about how REVIZE came to be, how it has been used, and where it’s headed.
