Go behind the scenes in this double-header podcast with Framestore.
Today on the befores & afters podcast, we’re talking about the film, The Sheep Detectives, directed by Kyle Balda. On the podcast we have two visual effects artisans from Framestore in two separate interviews.

The first is with visual effects supervisor Graham Page. And then we follow that up with the film’s second unit director, Tim Webber. With Graham, we run through all the VFX considerations on the film – how plates were filmed, acquiring sheep reference, asset builds and the lengthy post process.
Then with Tim, we dive into the second unit side of things, something which I don’t always get to do interviews on. Tim also talks about process, and mentions some fun scenes including one that didn’t make it to the final cut, and also the tricky process of making a chicken cross the road.

Listen in, above.
