Today on the befores & afters podcast, we’re chatting about the visual effects of season 3 of The Night Agent. I’m joined by visual effects supervisor Chad Wanstreet. He takes us through a whole selection of shots and sequences this series, and how they were accomplished. We start with the house fire, which was actually shot without any practical fire at all.
Then we discuss the truck plunging into the water, and the fight that also ensues underwater. Chad also mentions the opening plane explosion when it is hit by a missile and the later explosion that kills a key character. Plus we chat about a couple of invisible effects sequences, dealing with a helicopter and a deer.
