Special surprise - a republish of issue #1!

SURPRISE! Issue #1 of befores & afters magazine has been republished in the wide format! It covers stuffies, digital capes, rotoscoping, the destruction of the Golden Gate Bridge, and Jar Jar Binks.

Issue #1 was originally published in December 2020 in a portrait format, before the magazine swapped over to a landscape orientation. There’s been many requests for those portrait magazines to be ‘ported’ over to the new format. So, here is issue #1, presented ‘as is’, including with the original ads.

Most of the pieces in it are timeless, like the central stuffies coverage, but the more dated article relates to rotoscoping. It was written at a time when AI and machine learning methodologies were only just starting to be employed. So, please read that one with a ‘2020’ mindset. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy this republished issue (there’s even some bonus images included that were not in the original!)
