The 'TRON: Ares' issue is here!

Issue #44 of befores & afters covers the visual effects of ‘TRON: Ares’.

The new mag is out! In Print and Digital.

In this special edition of befores & afters magazine, visual effects supervisor David Seager and several other members of the effects team break down the work in TRON: Ares. Industrial Light & Magic took on the lionshare of the visual effects for the film, supported by Distillery VFX, Image Engine, GMUNK, Lola Visual Effects, OPSIS, Imaginary Forces and Prologue. Proof handled previsualization. ILM StageCraft was used for several scenes to shoot inside an LED volume. The film’s visual effects producer was Walter Garcia. Cameron Waldbauer was the special effects supervisor.
