Issue #23 of befores & afters magazine is now available ((US store link, or find your store below), and covers the special and visual effects of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, including the biggest sequences such as the opening eclipse encounter, spice harvester attack, sandworm riding and the battle on Arrakis.
Featured are visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert, special effects supervisor Gerd Nefzer, second unit visual effects supervisor Patrick Heinen, from Wylie Co., and DNEG visual effects supervisors Stephen James and Rhys Salcombe.
