It’s just one of the sessions at the Montreal VFX and animation event in May.
The full program has been announced and you can now grab tickets for the CAFÉ (Conference, Animation, FX, and Expertise) event in Montreal coming up on 16th and 17th May, at the Montréal Convention Center.
This event, from the Quebec Film and Television Council and Kaliko, is a really fun mix of VFX and animation presentations, business meetings and other showcases of both local and international work.
One of the prominent presentations will be a preview from Sony Pictures Animation and Sony Pictures Imageworks of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a full two weeks before the film even opens.
Other keynotes include DNEG presenting on The Last of Us, DreamWorks Animation on The Bad Guys and Marvel VFX supervisor Geoffrey Baumann on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Plus there’s some stunning presentations planned on projects including John Wick 4 (Rodeo FX), Andor (Hybride), Nope (MPC), Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Pixomondo), TMNT: Mutant Mayhem (Mikros Animation) and more. There will be panels on USD and remote production, too, and the opportunity for business lounge meetings.
