A new podcast with Cameron Target.
Today on the befores & afters podcast, we’re talking about the role of VFX coordinators. I am joined by Cameron Target, who most recently was a VFX coordinator on the Disney live-action film, Moana.
Cameron has previously worked at VFX studios Brickyard and Baked Studios, and also at Red Bull Media House. We go through his earliest roles at Brickyard, including as a runner – which I have to say brought up some memories of when I used to be a law clerk.
And then we dive deeper into the work he undertook as a VFX coordinator working on Moana. In addition, I chat to Cameron about his work with the Academy Software Foundation on the Dailies Notes Assistant. It’s a project where he’s been able to share his expertise from VFX coordinator roles very directly.
