See how the built sets were extended and how the mind-bending no-clipping was achieved.
One of the upcoming magazines from befores & afters is all about the visual effects of Kane Parsons’ Backrooms. The film, of course, has had phenomenal success at the box office, and is based on Parsons’ original YouTube Backrooms videos.
befores & afters is going deep on the VFX of the film with visual effects supervisor Ed Douglas, several members of the crew, and with Parsons himself.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this special insight into the visual effects in a VFX breakdown from Mr. Wolf. In it, the studio highlights its work in extending the already impressive built sets to expand the scope of the Backrooms, as well as giving a glimpse of how they accomplished the ‘no-clipping’ shots.
Watch the video below. You can subscribe to the befores & afters Patreon DIGITAL MAGAZINE tier to get the Backrooms issue in digital as soon as it’s released.
