Today on the befores & afters podcast we’ve got a really fun episode about being a visual effects producer. Now, over the years, I have not always been able to talk to VFX producers. Sometimes their work has been a bit of a mystery to me. Or, because they are often associated with budget and bidding, and that’s not something we always get to talk about openly.
Luckily, I was able to chat to VFX producer Lynzi Grant. She’s worked on such films as Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Hocus Pocus 2, Spiderhead and Extraction. Lynzi was incredibly candid in discussing what the role of a VFX producer involves, and she really breaks down how it works in pre-production, production and post.
