Issue #33 of befores & afters magazine is now out in PRINT and DIGITAL. Inside, you’ll find in-depth coverage of the creature, practical and visual effects of season 2 of Andor.

To produce the more than 4,000 VFX shots in this season, visual effects supervisor Mohen Leo and visual effects producer TJ Falls brought on several key vendors, including The Third Floor (visualization supervisor Jennifer Kitching), Industrial Light & Magic (visual effects supervisor Scott Pritchard), Scanline VFX (visual effects supervisor Sue Rowe), Hybride (visual effects supervisors Joseph Kasparian and Olivier Beaulieu), Soho VFX (visual effects supervisor Keith Sellers) and an in-house visual effects team (visual effects supervisor Paolo D’Arco) made up of artists from Midas VFX.

The new issue also explores the practical effects with special effects supervisor Luke Murphy, and the creature work overseen by Neal Scanlan.
