Texxary’s journey

Texxary launched their first products in March 2023. Since then they have expanded their product line to fit their customer needs even more. In 1.5 years Texxary became the one of the leading manufacturers for photogrammetry accessories which have changed the scanning experience for hundreds of studios and individuals all over the world.

The two brothers Kai and Christoph combined their skills in 3D design and 3D printing with their creativity and passion. They quickly realized that their skills were a perfect match.

After years of working in the photogrammetry industry, Kai noticed that there was a huge demand for photogrammetry tools, especially polarizing filters for ring flashes, and back then there was nothing comparable on the market. The two brothers took their time to work on prototypes for the first polarizing mounts. Shortly afterwards they officially launched Texxary and developed more and more specialized tools that mostly weren’t available before.

The pro gear

Texxary’s product line includes polarizing filters and handle sets for Godox AR400 and R200 ring flashes, scale bars with coded targets, sticker sheets with april tags and coded targets, external triggers, flash sync cables, hot shoe adapters, individual polarizing sheets and now they also offer a Calibrite ColorChecker.

While producing and selling hardware, Texxary also proved their knowledge and experience in photogrammetry by launching an asset library with highly detailed PBR surface scans that are completely free to download.

Simultaneously, they have an exclusive library and are planning to add hundreds of scans exclusively for studios, and also offer custom scanning services for AAA game and VFX productions. Requests for exclusive content can be made here.

One of Texxary’s biggest keys will always be good customer support. One of their customers says: “Not only does Texxary have a high quality product, they provide outstanding customer service, something that is difficult to find nowadays in highly specialized low volume products like this one. Not only did they respond within minutes to my questions but they stayed in touch to ensure my customer support and satisfaction.”

Texxary’s future plans

Texxary’s future plans will be a complete game changer for photogrammetry. On top of new products that will automate and improve the professional photogrammetry workflow, they are also planning to provide a knowledge library packed with tutorials, documentation and knowledge sharing to build and strengthen the scanning community.

Besides mobile stereo photometry rigs and stationary automated 3D turntable rigs, automated color correction tools will be the next big thing. “We have more plans than time in the world,” says Kai, one of the co-founders, while trying to produce enough hardware, maintain the websites, produce scans, provide customer support, while developing new prototypes and work on tutorials.
