At the FMX Conference in Stuttgart this year, Hugo Guerra and I had the pleasure of doing a LIVE VFX Notes episode with visual effects supervisor Mike Fink. Now, the FMX team have been incredibly generous in letting us showcase that video for you as our newest VFX Notes ep.
With Mike, we really get right into so many details of his career, such as prop-making on Blade Runner, old-school VFX in Batman Returns, CG in Mars Attacks!, the bamf’ing in X-Men 2 and the creatures (and lost shots) in The Golden Compass.
