Late last year, befores & afters spoke with Industrial Light & Magic visual effects supervisor Jonathan Privett about Netflix’s Life on Our Planet.
One of the things Privett mentions in that interview is staging some of the creature scenes with toys.
In this video from Netflix, we get to see how VFX director of photography Jamie McPherson did stage some creature set-ups with an iPhone and plastic toys.
