Today on the befores & afters podcast, we’re chatting to Base FX founder and CEO Chris Bremble. Base FX is based in China and is this year celebrating its 20th anniversary. I ran through with Chris the history of Base, and how it works running a visual effects studio in China. We talk about some of their major highlights, including when they were a key partner to ILM, and their more recent venture into animated features.
There’s a lot of fun stories to listen to on Base’s journey, and Chris is, I think, really candid about his presence in China, how the industry is going and where things are headed.
