Here at befores & afters we’re continuing our season of episodes on AI and ML in VFX. Today we’re chatting with Jennie Zeiher, who is the President of Rising Sun Pictures. We’re going to take a look at what is more of a business and marketing exploration of Rising Sun Pictures’ REVIZE toolset. This is a machine learning toolset the VFX studio has now used on many projects for face replacement and now even body replacement.
Some of the projects it has been used on include Furiosa, for young Furiosa which combined the features of the younger actor Alyla Browne with those of the adult Furiosa, portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy. The VFX studio also utilized REVIZE for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for the laser dance seen featuring Jim Carrey, who played two characters in that scene.
