Today on the befores & afters pocast, we’re chatting to Scott Fisher, the special effects supervisor on Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer.

Here, Fisher talks in particular about what went into depicting the Trinity Test on screen, in terms of the actual explosives he orchestrated.

We also discuss his collaboration with VFX supervisor Andrew Jackson on many aspects of the effects in the film, including the sub-atomic aspects and in crafting things like the miniature shockwave dust effects.
